The final batch was shipped to Japanese retailers in April, according to IT Media. Once these units are sold, new cassette Walkmans will no longer be available through the manufacturer.

The first generation Walkman (which was called the Soundabout in the US, and the Stowaway in the UK) was released on July 1, 1979 in Japan. Although it later became a huge success, it only sold 3000 units in its first month. Sony managed to sell some 200 million iterations of the cassette Walkman over the product line’s 30-year career.

Somewhat ironically, the announcement was delivered just one day ahead of the iPod’s ninth anniversary on October 23, although the decline of the cassette Walkman is attributed primarily to the explosive popularity of CD players in the 90s, not the iPod.

The reading is in dBm and the higher the number is, the lower its signal strength and anything below -110dBm may experience call failure or drop. By now you should have better feel on how your iPhone reception can be impacted under different holding situation and various condition. However, it works only on iPhone 3G/3GS/4 with iOS 4.1 but not earlier version and hopefully this Cupertino-based company will consider putting back full field mode test for more comprehensive field test measurements when iOS 4.2 is released soon.

Below are the simple steps that you should follow:

1. Connect both of your computer and Dreambox decoder to a switch/bridge using Ethernet cable.
2. From the remote control, go to Menu -> Setup -> Expert Setup -> Communication Setup. Read the IP address of your decoder from the TV screen (assuming that you already have the composite video output cable connected from decoder to TV).
3. Then go to TV computer screen, open an Internet Explorer, type in ftp://192.168.x.x (IP address read from step ii).
4. When prompted for username and password, type ‘root’ and ‘dreambox’ respectively to access into Dreambox.
5. From here, you will notice a folder view and browse into ‘var’ and followed by tuxbox/config/enigma subfolder, look for a file named as ‘config’.
6. Right click on the ‘config’ file and select open, then search for a line such as ‘parentallock=0000HHHH’.
7. Convert the last four Hex number to Decibel (can use your Scientific calculator in your PC) and this four Decibel number will be your parental lock password that can be used to unlock any locked channels.

Hopefully this simple steps will able to retrieve your lost password without the need to reformat the whole Dreambox.

Definitely, this looks much more impressive than when you try to capture or snapshot TV images on PC using Dreambox decoder since you can see smooth and live media contents streaming without lagging even wirelessly (but also depending on your network stability) on multiple PC with just few simple steps.

The Western Digital Caviar Green 3TB drive is the first drive of its capacity to be available for purchase for use as a boot or secondary drive. Seagate was technically first to market with their external 3TB storage solution, but it has not been sold as a bare drive for DIY use. Microsoft Trying to Buy Adobe - CEO Microsoft, Steve Ballmer recently held a secret meeting with the chief executive of Adobe, Shantanu Narayen, to discuss how the two companies can join to fight Apple, and the possible purchase of the Flash developers.

Ballmer, flanked by a small army deputy, approached Adobe, according to sources familiar with the matter. The meeting lasted more than an hour, and covers topics related to the dominance of Apple in the mobile market, restrictions on the chief executive of Apple, Steve Jobs on Flash, and a possible partnership or acquisition directly from Adobe.

Redmond software giant Adobe has been seduced in the past. But the deal never came to the result, for fear that Microsoft faced antitrust charges from the U.S. Department of Justice. At that time, Microsoft is the dominant company in the technology, before Google and Apple gain a large share in the smartphone market.

Today, Microsoft has fallen far behind the two companies, though hoping to turn their luck with the new operating system launched its mobile, called Windows 7 Phone, due out next week.

The deal could be worth more than $ 15 billion based on Adobe's current stock price.
