Verizon Wireless 3G Network Extender - Verizon Wireless announced its new 3G Network Extender.The Network Extender provides a stronger signal to those in areas where Verizon Wireless' coverage is poor due to location, geography, or structural conditions.

“The Verizon Wireless 3G Network Extender, a “mini-cell site” manufactured by Samsung Mobile, is about the size of a wireless router box or woman’s purse and routes Verizon Wireless calls through the customer’s home broadband Internet connection.”

Furthermore, it is described as being “ideal for those customers who want to use their wireless devices in homes with structural barriers or homes located in remote, mountainous or hilly areas.” Bottom line here, if you are paying for Verizon service and are unable to use it in your home this may be a good option. The 3G Network Extender will basically allow you to make calls, send text and picture messages and also browser the web, send email, play games and even download apps. In summary, it will allow your phone to function as it should.

The signal booster can hanle six Verizon Wireless customers, who can set up a list of preferred users who will have access to their Network Extender. It is available for $249.99.
