Kingston Introduces Class 4 microSDHC card - Kingston has added a new member to its microSDHC card line-up by introducing their first 32GB Class 4 microSDHC card. This thumb-sized card is compliant with the SD 2.00 standard and promises to deliver a minimum data transfer rate of 4MB/s.

The memory card is a Class 4 model with a capacity of 32 GB which, as Kingston puts it, corresponds to 2,000 minutes of video, 6,000 songs or 29,000 photos.

It uses the FAT32 file format and measures 0.43 x 0.59 x 0.039 inches, which is the equivalent of 11mm x 15mm x 1mm.

Also, the operating temperature is of -13 degrees F to 185 degrees F (-25 degrees C to 85 degrees C), while the storage temperature ranges from -40 degrees F to 185 degrees F (-40 degrees C to 85 degrees C).

What's more, Kingston has provided a variety of adapters, such as SD and miniSD, and this lets the newcomer be used in more than one type of consumer electronic.

ASUS Eee PC 1015PN netbook Unboxed - The Asus Eee PC 1015PN is one of the first 10 inch netbooks to feature second generation NVIDIA ION graphics. While the version of the ION chip used in 10 inch notebooks isn’t quite as powerful as the chip used nettops and larger notebooks it does provide more than enough graphics processing power to handle 720p and 1080p HD video playback. The Eee PC 1015PN isn’t available in the US yet, but the folks at Eee PC.it have managed to snag an Italian model. You can check out the site’s unboxing and first impressions post.

Lack of Nvidia Optimus with Windows 7 Starter has been confirmed here, so a manual reboot is in order to switch to ION graphics and vise versa or you can shell out more for a higher end Windows version to activate it. Looking at the photos, I’ll confirm that this is a 1024 x 600 display like the one selling over at ExcaliberPC. First impressions – the netbook seems more responsive than typical single core powered netbooks and the bottom gets pretty warm with ION switched on. I still hope there is a HD display, Windows 7 Home Premium model in the works.

The computer also comes with a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual core processor and 1GB of memory. Eee PC.it does note that the bottom of the netbook gets a bit warmer than other netbooks when running with the ION graphics enabled, but that’s hardly surprising.

How to Change Display Name In Windows Live Messenger 2011 - The latest version of Windows Live Messenger, which previously known as MSN Messenger, Windows Live Messenger (WLM) 2011 removes the capability for users to change the display name, screen name or nickname, which can be different from actual name or real identity. Instead, WLM 2011 displays the full first name and last name which are set in Windows Live profile.

How to Change Screen Display Name or Nickname in Windows Live Messenger 2011 :

1. Run and login to Windows Live Messenger 2011.
2. Click on the user name with small down arrow on top of the messenger’s window.
3. Select Edit your name in the drop down menu that appears.



4. A Windows Live Profile web page will be automatically opened in the default browser. Edit the First Name and Last Name accordingly.
Note that both First Name and Last Name text fields must be entered, thus user will have to come out with own idea on how to enter either too long or too short (single word) nickname in two text boxes.

5. Click on Save button when done. The new display name should be displayed and shown on Windows Live Messenger shortly.

Thus, in order to change display name (the nickname that your contacts and friends are seeing), user will have to change the their real full name in the form of first name and last name which are configured and saved inside the Windows Live account profile. The real name is used for identificaiton in Messenger, Hotmail, SkyDrive, and other places on Windows Live. Unfortunately, the ability to add emoticons to the display name not longer work, as any attempt to enter punctuation marks is prohibited in the first name and last name with error “your name contains characters that are not allowed”.
